ROSA YOUNG  is a practicing artist, educator, and curator                   who graduated in Fine art Drawing and  Painting at the      University of Arts London.

She has over 25 years of experience teaching GCSE Arts,                  A-Level Arts, and has provided portfolio preparation for          higher education and art scholarships.                                                        She has also been running Newdays Gallery London since 2006.

               A-Level, and SCGE Art Class

GCSE Art and A-Level Art courses aim to help to teach students everything they need to know to thrive in their chosen art coursework sector in the national curriculum. They tend to delve into the history of their chosen topic and study the people and practices that have influenced the artists before teaching skills that practice and become proficient in.

Class tuition in a range of media including; drawing, painting, sculpture,  and integrating art.

**PORTFOLIO: for Higher Education in Art & Design, architecture, Art Scholarships 11+, 13+, 16+

                                 We provide Art education based on an excellent portfolio to show outstanding potential in any aspect of art, art                                                       examination, and interview preparation.                         

* A-Level Arts and  IB Arts: Course Work and Development:  includes Portfolio Preparation for the students who are willing to get                                             Higher education in the fields of Art & Design and Architecture.     

* GCSE Arts: We provide practical skills, research methodology, and conceptual ideas to the students who are aiming to get a                                                         higher grade in the school's final Exam.

* Key Stage 1.2 & 3(Children's Art Classes  ): Observations and Creativity, Help children the basic observational skills, explore                                                       various materials and mediums through experiences. We bring out creativity and imagination in each child.   

* Extra Lessons: Gallery visiting, outdoor sketching       

 * All Courses work in the National Curriculum with practical methodology, Observation, and creativity

DUO Portfolio Preparation course:

The portfolio plan focused on the major areas that should be represented in an applicant's folder and help students to achieve                        their aspirations, however ambitious they are.

If you’re just starting on your Portfolio Journey, we can help you find a way to solve functional skills that can take you into University Entry or Art Scholarships with a high-quality Portfolio.

All portfolios will be inspected by the Art director Rosa Young who has expert in-depth knowledge of what constitutes a good portfolio and what should be included in it.

Children's Art Classes  [아동 미술 창작반]                                                                                                                                                                                 

We help children explore various materials and mediums through experience and teaching them

basic observational skills with Still Life, Nature, Animals, Insects, Landscapes, Vehicles, Music, Films, Stories,

Current Issues or topics, aim to

  * Express ideas in a visual form

  * Experience with a wide range of art mediums

  * Increase in confidence and self-motivation

  * Obtain skills through hard work, experiments and explorations

Arts subjects encourage self-expression and creativity and can build confidence as well as a sense of individual identity.

We are teaching on a one-to-one or small-group basis and we are flexible in our approach. We provide Portfolio preparation to support students who want to get higher education and art scholarships with a high-quality Portfolio with interview skills. We do feedback and advice for portfolio work, plan, exam, deliver and assess specific media-based lessons. We are extremely proud to have most of our students succeed in the top 10 Higher Education and Art Scholarships.   

Painting Lessons

  * Acrylic/  Water-colour/ Oil Painting

 Through the Painting  Courses:  you'll learn

• A process and structure in an easy way to create a painting from start to finish.
  
• The best way  how to use mediums and cleaners,
  
• How to mix a 7-value greyscale, shading, and a gradient in every value with paint.
• How painting in layers works with underpainting, and how to bring an oil painting to completion. (Including varnishing)
  
• How to use a new kind of color chart that will make mixing any color imaginable easy, using the least amount of tubes of paint possible, to make sure you never get muddy colors again!
  
• How to control the difference between chroma, color, and values.
  
• The best way to light and photograph, a portrait or any other subject for a painting.
  
• The perfect combination of colors to get a beautiful, glowing flesh tone.

* By the end of the class, you’ll paint any subjects in full color. 

Take drawing classes with a private teacher:     

  An easy system to draw anything you want!

       A process and structure to creating a Drawing from start to finish.

• The best way to use all different mediums(materials) such as pencil, wax, charcoal, ink, and so on.
  
• How to explain a tonal value greyscale, and shading with gradient and the perfect combination of lines to get a beautiful tone. 

Lessons Include: 
  * Proportion, Shape, angle, Line direction, Tonal Shading, Negative space, Perspective 

 Once I feel the student has grasped these, I can begin to apply the theory to drawing things such as Portrait,  Landscape, Architecture, Still Life, Botanical and Animals.
